Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of SwipEd and the matching and lesson services we provide through swipedhk.com. By using the site, creating an account, or accepting a match, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.

2. What SwipEd does

SwipEd introduces students to teachers and helps arrange lessons. We review teachers before adding them to our network, but we are an introducer and coordinator — we do not guarantee any particular academic result.

3. Accounts

• You agree to give accurate information and to keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the service or breach these terms.

4. Matches & lessons

The SwipEd team reviews requests and pairs students with teachers. A match appears in your dashboard once it's confirmed. Lesson times, rates and arrangements are agreed through SwipEd. Fees, where they apply, will be made clear before lessons begin.

5. Messaging & conduct

Where messaging is enabled, it is provided so a matched student and teacher can coordinate lessons. To keep everyone — especially minors — safe:

• All messages are logged and may be reviewed by the SwipEd team.
• Be respectful. No harassment, illegal content, or attempts to take payment or contact off-platform to avoid safeguarding.
• We may remove content or end a match that breaches these rules.

6. Payments

Any fees, payment methods and refund terms will be set out separately at the time you book lessons. This page does not itself create a payment obligation.

7. Intellectual property

Lesson materials and the SwipEd name and site belong to their respective owners. You may use materials for your own learning but not resell or redistribute them.

8. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care but, to the extent permitted by law, SwipEd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the service. We'll update the date above when we change them. You may stop using the service at any time, and you can ask us to close your account.
